Bedford County welcomes public comment on the next issuance of FY2013 Justice Assistance Grant
(JAG) program. Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is eligible to receive $15,451.00. JAG funds are used to control and prevent crime. The funds are available over the next four years.
JAG funds can be used for:
- Law enforcement programs
- Prosecution and court programs, including indigent defense
- Prevention and educational programs
- Drug treatment and enforcement programs
- Technology improvement program
