At 9:30 p.m., Monday evening Bedford County 911 dispatchers received a call from a motorist, who reported she had found a deceased person lying in the road on Roaring Run Road in Bedford County. Bedford County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene. There was no identification located on the body. The body was transported to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke to determine the identity of the body and cause of death.
