Many of you in the media have been requesting additional pictures of their trip to D.C.
It was a whirlwind trip filled with lots of excitement, seeing new places and meeting lots of Virginia Sheriffs, Congressman Goodlatte and other members of Congress.
Sheriff Mike Brown accompanied the group along their mentor Robert Carson, Capt. Tim Hayden, SRO Deputy Daniel Clark both of the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office and Assistant Principal from Liberty High School, Brian Wilson.
A special ‘thank you’ to Berglund of Bedford for supplying the van to get all the boys to D.C. and thanks to the VA Sheriff’s Association for making all these activities possible. None of these boys have ever been to our nation’s capitol, and it was an experience they will never forget.
