The Army wants you to be all that you can be; the Marine Corps wants a few good men; the Air Force wants you to aim high; and the Navy wants you to accelerate your life.
What does the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office – Citizens Police Academy (BCSO-CPA) want? All of the above.
You can make a difference.
The BCSO CPA is an educational opportunity designed for the citizens of the county. The CPA is a 12-week course (one night each week) that introduces topics like the mission and values of the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, Crime Prevention, Community Relations, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Safe Surfin’ Foundation and many other interesting topics.
This Academy affords you the opportunity to become involved and assist the BCSO by volunteering for traffic control/parking vehicles and collecting statistical data for traffic studies and collecting statistical data.
The next Citizens Police Academy is TBD but feel free to sign up to show interest.
