On Friday afternoon May 8, 2015, Bedford County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 2850 Chestnut Fork Road, Bedford after receiving a call of a disturbance. After arriving on the scene deputies found the victim, Travis Singleton, age 32, 2850 Chestnut Fork Road, had been assaulted. He was transported to Bedford Memorial Hospital by ambulance. He was treated for facial wounds and a broken rib and later released.
Deputies arrested Johnny Dean Clark, age 55, and his son, Mitcheal Dehaven, age 30, and charged them with malicious wounding of the victim. They both reside at 1821 Edwardsville Road, Hardy Virginia. They are being held in the Bedford Adult Detention Center without bond.
