Bedford County 911 dispatchers received call at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday evening from the 1200 block of Ivy Creek Drive in Forest. The caller advised his son told him that while he was playing in the creek behind their residence a white Ford truck with two white teenage boys dressed in all black attempted to abduct him. A Bedford County Sheriff’s School Resource Officer was at Jefferson Forest High School when the call was dispatched and responded to the area. During the initial investigation deputies located a white Ford 150 truck at 6:48 p.m., however, the driver of the truck was a female and did not match the suspect descriptions. While in the area, sheriff’s deputies spoke to a number of neighbors who were working in their yards when the call was received. None of them witnessed a white truck in the area.
The investigation into this incident is on-going.
