The men and women of the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the dozens of citizens who dropped off water, food and snacks for the volunteers involved in the search for Timothy Kilpatrick. We would also like to express our appreciation to the dozens of people who called in possible sightings and/or volunteered to help search. It was truly heartwarming to watch people pull up, unload supplies, and leave without ever seeking recognition. We are especially grateful to the members of Otterville United Methodist Church for opening up their church for our use during this time.
We would also like to recognize the businesses who donated food and supplies; Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital, Owen’s Market, Sedalia Store, Dominos Pizza, Subway, Liberty Station Restaurant and Wal-Mart.
It is in times of crisis when this community pulls together and shows their support for each other. It is the care and concern we have for one another that truly makes Bedford a special place that we at the Sheriff’s Office are proud to serve. Thank you.
