Wednesday evening Bedford County Sheriff’s investigators arrested Lachelle Lynette Slaughter, age 24, 2115 Early Street Lynchburg, Va. She is charged with cashing a forged note (check) and feloniously conducting a bank action. The charges stem from check she cashed at the Bank of the James Wednesday afternoon. She was released on bond. (Slaughter is the black female that was left in Forest yesterday afternoon by the two black male suspects.)

Investigators have obtained four warrants for Antonio Mariello Waring, B/M, age 27, 5805 Forest Point Drive, Raleigh, N.C. The charges are as follows; conspiring to cash a forged note (check), conspiring to utter a forged note (check), feloniously conspiring to conduct a bank action and felony eluding of a police officer(s). All the charges stem from the incident at the Bank of the James on Forest Road Wednesday afternoon, April 24th.
The investigation of this incident continues and Sheriff’s investigators are continually working to identify the second suspect.
